Nevada Dance Workshop was built on a shared passion for dance, excellence, and community. In 2018, Erica and I took over the studio from Ann Peters with a vision to create a place where dancers of all ages could receive exceptional training in a positive, supportive environment.

Both of us brought extensive professional experience to Northern Nevada. Erica, originally from the Carson Valley area, left home at a young age to pursue elite ballet training before performing professionally with companies including Festival Ballet Providence and Smuin Ballet. I am originally from England and enjoyed an international performing career with companies such as Birmingham Royal Ballet, Slovak National Ballet, and Smuin Ballet. It was through our professional dance careers that we met, and later chose to make Carson Valley home.

Since taking over Nevada Dance Workshop, we have worked hard to grow the studio into a thriving home for dancers of all levels—from first-time students discovering movement and confidence, to advanced dancers pursuing pre-professional opportunities. Our mission has always been to provide world-class training while maintaining the warmth, encouragement, and sense of family that makes the studio so special.

Today, Nevada Dance Workshop continues to inspire the next generation of dancers through quality instruction, performance opportunities, and a love of the arts that lasts a lifetime.
